High Performance Leadership: You've already done it!

You’ve ALREADY done it!

You’ve been in “the zone” at some point in your life. Whether it was…

  • during a sporting event
  • in a business situation
  • in a social encounter
  • in your relationship with your significant other
  • in a workout, or a meditation, something personal (by yourself)

Do you remember a time where you were performing at your best?

Describe that time! Be specific!

  • What was the situation? What was happening?
  • Where was it happening? Was it in your business? In an athletic event? In social life?
  • What were you doing? How were your performing?
  • What were thinking about? Were you thinking – or was it just “automatic” without much thought?
  • How did you feel? Were you calm, clear, collected? Or were you stressed, overwhelmed, anxious? Or were you just there?
  • What skills were you accessing at that time? Skills that you’ve developed and honed over time (with practice)? Or skills you haven’t used in a long, long time? Or skills you didn’t even know you had?

Intentional Habits Can Help You Access the Zone On-Demand

What might be 3 habits that you can create that would allow you to get into the zone (high-performance leadership) on-demand – whenever you need to?

  • Would a morning ritual help?
  • Meditation?
  • Regular skills acquisition and practicing those skills?
  • Gratitude?
  • Working on your mindset? Self-awareness?
  • Fueling program (your diet)?
  • What other habits might someone develop to help them access that zone when it’s needed?

The Best Time to Start Developing Those Habits

Finally, ask yourself: When is the best time to start developing these habits?

The obvious answer is: Now!

And for most, that would be a very good answer.

But the reality is… whenever you can be 100% committed to developing them! And only YOU know when that is!
